Monday Teeny Poll

By Glinda

Oh, the majority of you break my heart when 44% say that Santa photos are NEVER cute. NEVER?! Have you ever seen the ones with my kids? Adorable, I tell you! 29% think that kids should be done with Santa by middle school, and 23% of you are suckers for a pic at any age.  I think by middle school kids should really have nothing to do with Santa pictures.  Anything after that is a little bit creepy.

But today I want to talk gifts.  Well, actually about how you wrap them.

Oh man. Wrapping. Hate hate hate it.

  2. La Petite Acadienne Says:

I’ve gotten out of the habit of using ribbon and bows, mainly because we often travel to see family for Christmas, and hence, the bows wind up crushed beyond repair. So now I just buy the prettiest paper I can find and some lovely coordinating gift tags, and that’ll do the job. If the gift isn’t square or rectangular, though, in a gift bag it goes!

  3. Seana Says:

I had this really eco-friendly idea (stolen from a friend really) to make cloth christmas bags for everyone in my family and close friends as gifts. I spent weeks two years ago making bags, with special fancy cords to pull the tops, or just plain so they could add thier own adornment. I made multiple sizes for everone and they went over great. I forgot to make any for myself, so I am still stuck wrapping everything in paper: FAIL. Everyone else is using less paper though, so the planet wins.
