Aspirational Toys- My First Cubicle

Little Tykes Young Explorer

Yes, the “Young Explorer” from Little Tykes can make your child’s dream of working in a dreary corporate setting a reality!  Oh sure, it comes with a built-in computer and some software, but methinks that for $2500, they could have at least made it a corner office.

  1. Awesome Mom Says:

Does it come with a pretend copy machine and coffee maker?

  2. Sarah Says:

    Yikes, how depressing.

I hope it at least comes with a red stapler, a malfunctioning printer, and a baseball bat.

  3. The gold digger Says:

How about the obnoxious co-worker in the next cubicle who never forwards his phone when he leaves? And the lady who chews ice? And wears too much perfume?

PS Why can’t this toy be made with cardboard boxes?

  4. Glinda Says:

Ok Sarah, it’s been a while since I worked in the corporate world, but you HAVE to explain the baseball bat to me. 🙂

  5. La Petite Acadienne Says:

It’s from the movie Office Space. 🙂

Augh! Wrong video. Stupid YouTube and your stupid tribute videos made by amateurs.

    Here’s the real clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFS06Z0CCpk

Sadly, I have nothing to add after reading (and laughing hystercially) at first three comments! Sooo true…

  8. marvel Says:

…and I could see the squirrels, and they were married…

  9. Glinda Says:

Can you believe I’ve never seen that movie?

I have a total copier phobia, and I could see myself doing that to all the copiers I’ve ever used. Which thankfully isn’t too many.
