Monday Teeny Poll
By Glinda
The last poll wanted to know how you felt about 2010, and there was a tie for the most popular answer. Each answer of “the years just blend together anymore” and “I’m cautiously optimistic” received thirty-seven percent of the vote. There was also an equal amount of votes for the most optimistic and pessimistic views at eight percent, and another eight percent of you are a bunch of lushes who just want another drink. Amen, says I.
After being without an internet connection for (what was to me) a long time, I’m curious as to your relationship with the interwebs.

I’m moderately addicted, but I’d also be lost without it — there’s nothing better than google when you’re stumped on a code question.

I’m twitchy without it because it’s so *useful*, which to me is different than being addicted! Living in the SF Bay Area, all the local stores & restaurants tend to have websites, so I’m used to being able to find products, look up hours, get phone numbers, etc etc online. Thus I am both somewhat addicted to the fun aspect of it, and seriously direly addicted to the practical information aspect.

I lied. I can’t walk away. When I got laid off from my job, I paid my bills in this order: mortgage, health insurance, car insurance, internet, food.
