Last week’s poll about how your holidays went was answered with mostly positives, although the overwhelming favorite response was “calorie-filled” which applied to over a third of the respondents.   Distressingly, four percent of you claimed that yours was “disastrous” and another six percent needing the help of large amounts of alcohol or a therapist.  And, since it was possible to pick more than one response, possibly both.

Last week’s results should hearten any woman who breastfeeds, for they were overwhelmingly in favor of breastfeeding, any time, any place. Which is about how it goes, because a baby could care less that you are in the middle of 500 people, they are hungry now. But a whopping 59% requested that there be no “whipping it out” for all to see, please. There were zero people who answered in the negative categories of “it shouldn’t be done in public” and a “baby should be fed with a bottle in public.”  Good news, that.

This week we move on to Suri. You know, Suri Cruise, the possible recipient of a pair of $2500 custom-made Louboutin shoes at the tender age of one and a half. Now it is all just whispers and rumor at this point, but let’s just for a second assume that it is true.  Because, you know, it’s just more fun that way.

Last week’s results regarding public diaper changing were really interesting, with the total so far clocking in at 130 votes.

36% of respondents said that even thought it may not be ideal, a mom’s gotta do what a mom’s gotta do.
25% Withheld judgement, saying it depended where they were.  So I’m assuming at a five-star restaurant, not cool. Didn’t Britney do something like that once?
11% said it didn’t matter, there was no time or place that was acceptable.  Better not hang around Britney!
10% Said the opposite, saying it didn’t matter where or when, it was all good.
8% responded that it depended on the age of the child.  I would agree that the diaper of a 3 month old differs greatly from the diaper of a 2 year old.

That dress up there? Nice, but expensive as well. It is difficult sometimes to comprehend what some companies charge for children’s clothing, as the chances they are going to outgrow it are usually 100%.
