For being up against super sex-ay Christian Bale, Will Arnett really didn’t do all that badly. He got thirty seven percent of the vote, which means many of you also think a sense of humor counts for quite a bit.

As for today, I’ve got another Canadian actor who was made famous by some lil’ television show where he played the gay roommate of a woman named Grace.

VERSUS

You know how you know your life is in trouble?

When you think Friday is Thursday, that’s when.  And then you forget to put up your Friday specialty post until sometime in the afternoon because you only realized it was Friday in the last thirty minutes.

Sad, really.

Who else might be a little sad?  Seal, who lost to Christian Bale with only twenty six percent of the vote.  Although I’m betting that if he asks nicely, Heidi will give him a hug.

So who is today’s challenger?  Well, I’m forced to go to Canada for my international man hunt.  And this next actor may not be conventionally handsome, but to me, a sense of humor goes a mighty long way.  He has forever won my heart as GOB.

VERSUS

Christian Bale crushed Antonio Banderas under the weight of his chiseled physique, winning with over seventy percent of the vote.  I can admit that Mr. Banderas is a very attractive man, but he just doesn’t ring my bell the way Bale does.  You like how I did that? Yeah, it’s Friday.  At least I tried. 

Today’s contender hails from England, and is well known around the globe for his smooth and soulful sound.  Oh, and a little thing about being married to some chick named Heidi.

VERSUS

Remember those teething biscuits I raved about?

Well, the owners of the company were awesome, and sent me a few boxes of them, along with some of their other products, which are some lovely kid-friendly cookies called Dino Bites in different flavors. All of the products are 100% natural, vegan, and well, awesome. I have to admit that I am not a vegan, and love my butter, but even I really enjoyed the cookies. They are light, delicately flavored, and have just the perfect amount of crisp.

Oh Naveen! You were SO close to winning! I’m guessing only two votes separated him from winner Antonio Banderas. But no matter how much of a squeaker it was, Mr. Banderas still emerged victorious.

Today’s challenger was born in England, and has been acting since he was a child.  He is also rather insanely hot.  It’s the chiseled jawline and cheekbones that get me every time.

And, it’s fitting that they go up against each other, as each actor has an action character that they are well known for portraying.

Unfortunately for Stephen Moyer, his fan club missed his second appearance in CDF, and was roundly voted out, losing by a forty percent margin.  Sorry Stephen!

Today I’ve got someone who I would have featured quite a while ago if I had known he was a father.  It took the break-up of his long term relationship for the news of his child to reach my ears.  I’m sure you know who he is, and if you’ve never seen him on Lost, then for sure you saw him eons ago in The English Patient.

VERSUS

Well, do you want to know what happens when Stephen Moyer fans get a hold of a contest with their guy in it?  They wind up sending Hugh Jackman packing with only thirty five percent of the vote.

Today I decided to have not only an international actor as Stephen’s competition, but one that has also played the role of vampire before.  You all know who he is, and I’m actually surprised I’ve never included him in CDF before.  Because, you know, he’s a very handsome guy.

So not exactly mano y mano, but more diente y diente.  May the best vampire win!

VERSUS

Simon Baker put up the best fight yet against Hugh Jackman, and wasn’t all that far behind at forty percent of the vote. However, Simon doesn’t have the time to play catch up, and so unfortunately he is declared the loser. I do admire his hair, though. If it was a battle of hair, he might have won.

Today I’ve had to travel out of Australia and go back to England. This next international actor has been all over the news as of late, starring in a hit show and recently becoming engaged to costar Anna Paquin. He has a son from his first marriage, though, so he definitely qualifies for CDF.
