Forget about questionable teen photos, this week’s big shocker is that Hugh Jackman actually lost last week’s Faceoff. Unable to pull out his sixth win, he lost by exactly one percent according to my handy dandy poll calculator thingy.

But hey, he can feel better knowing that he lost to Denzel Washington, who, I have to admit, is mighty fine.

So this week, in keeping with the hot older dad theme I seem to have going, I have someone I feel is an extremely interesting challenger.

Dear Hugh Jackman Fan Club,

So far, you have enabled Mr. Jackman an unprecedented fifth win over Matthew Fox, who is certainly no slouch in the looks department. Not to mention Patrick Dempsey, Jason Bateman, Will Smith, and Daniel Craig, who also went down in flames.

Therefore, I have decided to throw some really big guns at you, just to see exactly what you are made of. Will you crumple in the face of the awesomeness that is this week’s challenger, or will you triumph yet again?

It’s finally Friday again, and you know exactly what that entails.  You having to choose which of two hunks is hunkier.  What a tough life you lead.

Hugh Jackman can apparently do no wrong.  He has handily beaten McDreamy by almost twenty percentage points.   Who knew he had such staying power?

So I have decided to pit him against a man most of you know well.  At least I think you do.  And if you don’t, you need to crawl out from under that rock.

Chant it with me now, “Three-peat, three-peat, three-peat!”  Let’s congratulate Hugh Jackman for winning three CDF’s in a row, quite a feat if you look at his competition. 

Apparently I raised the bar just a bit too high with Mr. Wolverine, but hey, who wants to look at just semi-good looking guys?  It’s an inexact science, really, but I figured it was wiser to err on the side of having really good looking men rather than so-so ones.  I can’t hear you, but I know you are agreeing with me.

I still can’t hear you, but now I have a feeling you are saying, “Enough with the jibber-jabber, Glinda, on with this week’s contestants!”

Whoo-hoo, it’s Friday!   Time yet again for the one thing that keeps you hanging on to your sanity until the weekend, Celebrity Dad Faceoff! 

The big shocker this week is that Hugh Jackman won out over Will Smith by more than forty percent of the vote.  Poor Will Smith, maybe he is seen more of as a cutie, rather than a hottie.

Anyhoo, because I lurve you all so much and you have shown yourselves in the comments to to be such a depraved bunch, I’m giving you some extra special bonus pics. Never say that Glinda doesn’t provide the beefcake when asked. 

This week I thought I’d throw in a blondie since all of the men have so far been tall, dark, and handsomes.

Ahhhh, it’s that time again.  Time for us to salivate over rationally and logically determine which celebrity dad is hotter than the other.  Things are starting to heat up over in this little corner of the blogosphere with all this man candy.  And that’s the way mama likes it, for sure.

Last week saw our two-time champion Jason Bateman duking it out against Mr. Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman.  Poor Jason, he initially held his own, but eventually lost by a ten percent margin to his more hirsute opponent.

Hey, some women are all about the hair.  Not me personally, but each to her own.

For some strange reason, this week just sort of sped by, and here it is Friday already!  I hope your week went as quickly as mine did.  And if it didn’t, I just so happen to have some serious man candy for you today.

To be honest, I was quite surprised that Jason Bateman beat out Benjamin Bratt in last week’s Faceoff.  I was sure many of you ladies were going to go for the tall, dark, and handsome BB, but Mr. Bateman (who will always occupy a soft spot in my heart for being Michael Bluth) won the contest quite handily.

So, I am going to start throwing some heavy hitters at y’all and see what happens. I also wanted to let you know what hard, backbreaking work it is looking at pictures of handsome man after handsome man, trying to determine which one is worthy of this contest. The weekend!  It’s almost here!
