Anyone Who’s Ever Parented a Toddler Can Empathize

Last week’s question about wearing trends the second time around had the majority (fifty-three percent) of you wishing people would give up on the trendy thing after a certain age. Which reminds me of the time I saw a woman (well-preserved, but still) of at least seventy wearing low-rider jeans, platform sandals, and a cropped top. And damn, was she proud of herself. That was at least five years ago, and the image is with me still, so you can imagine how traumatizing it was. A kinder, gentler remainder of you either said go for it (twenty-five percent) or that you just couldn’t be sure about condemning someone else’s sartorial choices (twenty-one percent).
And somehow, I truly embraced the use of parentheses in that last paragraph, didn’t I?
Today, I’m curious as to how you like to spend your “me” time. I’m asking because I have had precious little of it lately, and I’m being slightly voyeuristic.
