Celebrity Dad Faceoff 2.0
By GlindaWell, there was no way the Irish could lose, and they now have Gabriel Byrne as their champion. He managed to beat his fellow countryman Bono by an impressive forty percent margin. Bono and his glasses (which I had a devil of a time finding a picture of him without them) will have to console themselves by singing for me in concert in June. Well, not personally for me, but close enough.
I’m sort of digging the international vibe I’ve got going here, so my next challenger is from France. He was married for a time to Juliet Binoche, and he is quite easy on the eyes, if I do say so myself.

Benoit, daddy for 10 years from a very young age, very handsome soul, love his social conscious movies – coalminers, soldier in French Algeria, investigation in Serbian massacre, thumbs up!

I imagin Gabriel Byrne is a wonderful father. His eyes sparkle whenever he speaks of his children. He left Hollywood and a lucrative career to move back to NY to be close to his children. He even bought a brownstone close to their school so they were close by. His personality proves how loving and understanding the man he is and that can only add to the qualities it takes to be a good father. Rock on Gabriel, you are beautiful in every way.

Byrne actually had to fight for his children for years, because his ex was not allowing him the access he’d been granted under their divorce agreement. And he didn’t stop fighting. Also: he’s totally hot.
