They were in the $60 - $80 range so too rich for this then-grad student. They might have been a frivolous buy but I would have loved wearing them. I probably would have only worn them a few times and I had a total-loss house fire so they would have been crispy kindling. But I still think about those shoes!! They have become my standard for questionable purchases. If I don't buy this [insert item here], will I regret it as much as not buying the angel mules?
