Monday Teeny Poll

What? Monday is almost over you say? I can’t hear you because I”m too busy trying to pack up the umpteen million little things that accumulate in a house when you live in it for eight years. Give or take. So yes, this is a bit late, but take pity on me and rejoice in the fact that you are not me and that all the floors of your home are not obscured by cardboard boxes. Ugly cardboard boxes.
So.
Last week almost sixty percent of you admitted that if you didn’t get what you wanted for the holidays, you gave yourself permission to buy it yourself, lack of “real reason” be damned. Wanting it is enough of a reason, right? Thirty one percent of you are more grown up than me, and said that you were simply thankful for the things you did get. Yeah, yeah, go ahead and make the rest of us look bad.
As for today, we are a few days into 2010, how is it feeling so far?

Ugh…moving. I feel your pain. We moved from an apartment into our newly constructed home, so during construction, I thought it would be a good idea to at least get the packing started. The apartment looked like 1980′s-era Beirut for almost a year.
But, if you’re anything like me, you’ll find that this is an EXCELLENT time to start paring down your possessions, if only to avoid having to pack them.
