Victoria Beckham and Cruz: Ready for Liftoff

Apparently, Posh and Cruz are exiting an LA area restaurant for brother Romeo’s 7th birthday party.
OK, now maybe the uber-rich have very different parties for 7 year olds, but in my world, unless there is something utterly fantastic, like a personal DJ, a quarter-scaled replica of the space shuttle, and custom sundae bar, no 7 year old is going to have fun at a restaurant.

i dunno… my 3 year old loves going “to the dinner place”… but that’s usually Red Robin, not some fancy LA eatery. We have taken her to nicer places, once pretty recently, and she had a great time but that’s because she got to wear a fancy dress, eat spaghetti, and had plenty of time to dance and sing in the bathroom in front of the full length mirror. And I’d guess that they weren’t having the full on party in there (though I could be wrong), wouldn’t hit have just been the family celebration part of the birthday?

I’ve got a soon-to-be 7 year old boy, and trust me, they’d rather be running around like headless chickens than cooped up in a restaurant.
I’m thinking it might have been the “real” party, else why the Buzz Lightyear outfit?

The bigger question is: what was Victoria doing there? It’s not like she eats.
