CDF: Special Edition- Bad Boys vs. Good Guys
By GlindaSince I am packing Mr. Dennis Quaid off to his frankly surprising spot in the Celebrity Dad Hall of Fame, I thought I would try something different today. I guess Rob Lowe was just too pretty for everyone, and though he put up a valiant fight, he lost by a fairly thin margin.
I’m sure all of you have by now heard of the death of director John Hughes, who made some of the best teen films ever to hit the screen. And really, I’m not just saying that because I am totally biased because they came out when I was a teenager.
So in honor of Mr. Hughes, I thought I would do a special double edition, with some of his most memorable characters from the movies The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink. The two that win this week will face off next week.
We’ll see if your soft spot is for the good guys or the bad boys. I have my theories, let’s see what happens.

However you get there, remember, it’s best to end up with the guy who will hold your hair when you throw up.
However, my freshman year of college I did date briefly this guy who looked EXACTLY like Judd Nelson….soooo…hot.

missm, I’m jealous!
And, I have to say I cannot believe that James Spader is losing to wimpy Andrew McCarthy!

I’m not opposed to the jock in general, but I’ve never been a fan of any of the Sheen men. Judd Nelson back in the day, though? Rrrooowwr.
Totally with you, Glinda, on wimpy Andrew McCarthy. I remember how girls just loved him but I didn’t get it.

What?! Where’s Duckie? Frankly, I think it was a huge mistake to change the ending so that Andie ended up with the major appliance. Jon Cryer was HOT in that prom ensemble.
