In an ad campaign for London Fog (of all companies) that will be released in October, Gisele’s expanding stomach is instead a vast, flat, Photoshopped expanse.

It looks horrid, if you ask me.   Is this honestly the best Photoshopping they could get for the money? It looks like she is wearing support hose. And we all know that Gisele is one of the last people on earth that needs support hose.

The quote from the London Fog spokesman as to why there is no evidence of her pregnancy goes thusly:

“Although Gisele was photographed while pregnant, most of the shots have been retouched to respect her privacy during this wonderful and personal time in her life,” Dari Marder Chief Marketing Officer, London Fog revealed in a press release. “Nobody is sexier or more beautiful than Gisele Bundchen in nothing but a London Fog trench coat, even with her visible baby bump,” adds Marder.

There are lies, and then there are damn lies, and that is one of them.

Last week’s celebrity baby photo was comprised of a smiling blond cutie with ponytails.  Ahhh, remember the days of wearing  ponytails on the sides of the head like that?  And with a center part? I’m pretty sure that style has fallen out of favor, but maybe when my daughter is too young to fight me, I will put her hair up like that.

Due to a glitch in the commenting system that held a couple of comments in the approval queue, the fabulous Jennifer was actually the first one with the correct guess, which was Julia Roberts!

Then I went ahead and featured her in another post, and along with Richard Gere being in the Celebrity Dad Faceoff, it’s just been a Pretty Woman sort of week around here, it seems.  Funny, because I didn’t really like the movie all that much.

Who does not love Jennifer Garner and her elder daughter, Violet?

They look as if they are leaving a medical office, and Violet has apparently chosen to decorate her mother’s arm with the obligatory stickers they give out at pediatrician offices.

Violet’s sweater is adorable, and I can’t tell if that is a shirt with a bow underneath, but it looks good all the same. And, I love the hot pink shoes, which look to be the Supergas I pointed out here.

As far as Jennifer’s outfit goes, she is all about the comfort, people. Simple tee, simple jeans, and running shoes.

I have to say that I’m not a big fan of running shoes as part of this outfit. There are so many types of cute, comfortable shoes out there to where you don’t have to resort to the New Balances as daily wear.

Me, I’m so lazy that I hardly ever wear shoes that I have to tie, so running shoes are not an option. Because it’s all about just trying to get out the door in time for school, baby.  Give me a pair of slip-on mary janes and I’m good to go.
