Basketball is HUGE in the Philippines, where everyone is about 5′ 2″. Come to think of it, so is karaoke.

Holla. I taught in the South Side of Chicago this past year and it seemed like an awful lot of my students wanted to be basketball players or entertainers. Ironically, they were the short and/or least talented kids.
