Flu Watch, 2008!

Google.org is tracking the flu, just for you!

This map and accompanying graph shows which areas of the US are typing search terms related to the influenza virus, which they have found to be quite an accurate predictor of where the flu happens to be prevalent. They explain the methodology here, and tout themselves as being more accurate than the CDC!

Based on that graph, flu activity is currently pretty low, but it looks like we need to watch out for December!

    That’s not accurate; if it were, the epicentre would be at casa raincoaster!
