Of course, his Hamlet was considered definitive and later in his career when he was a judge at auditions for the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts a young Kenneth Branagh chose Hamlet for his audition, knowing full well who would be watching. When he got to the stage Olivier's booming voice yelled, "Well, you've got balls!" I have a great Olivier story!
