I'm with Brian's Babymomma. What a great time those little girls would have if all the guys in the family (dad, brothers, whoever) took off for some guy bonding time and all the girls turned the house into a spa and gave each other facials or pedicures or whatever to pamper each other. I actually know a gal who makes that a monthly ritual for her daughters and her. It's way more cost effective (of course) and it teaches not only care for self, but care for others, because the sisters treat each other and mom.

Gosh! A new generation of Paris, Lindsay, and Brittany's. Little spoiled girls with no grasp on reality. Maybe for a birthday or as a mommy date but consistantly? Way too much too young..

Ah, you got to this first. Yes, it's so important for our toddlers to unwind from their stressful lives at the spa.

As somebody on Gawker said, Jesus loves you whether you get a manicure or not.

How much happier would those little girls be if Mommy actually took the time to paint their toenails herself?

I am all about values, and I am devastated--devastated!--that I neglected to teach my daughters to nurture their inner selves by getting a facial every six weeks. But I have learned my lesson. From now on, I am going to stop and smell the Tropical Spa Day featuring mango papaya manicures and coconut dream massage.

Seriously, I am conflicted here. When my daughters were little, it would have been a fun "princess" treat to do, oh, twice in their preteen life. And I can certainly empathize with the moms who are trying to help their young teen daughters gain some social confidence. I could even see it as an effort to jump-start a girl who resists the idea of good grooming.

But I was creeped out to see two-year-olds portrayed as salon regulars, or the idea that these pampering expeditions are somehow making better people out of these children. Says a lot more about the moms than the girls.

Wow I never knew that going to a spa as a child will help you have more balanced values. I thought that my parents taught me that by having me work hard and contribute to the family through chores and things like that. I guess my parents had it all wrong.

You are not alone, those half braids look awful!
