Friday Caption Contest Results: Superhero Edition

It is time to crown our champion (“tiara” our champion? I was always partial to WonderWoman) for last week’s Friday Caption Contest. It was a heated bout which brought out the best in our contestants, as you can see from the entries.

But there can be only one.

Beach Capes or superhero costumes? I mean, who wears a beach cape?

    I am flushed, not only with victory, but also with pleasure at the kindness of Bellamama and gemdiva.

    These boots are sooo much better than my Wonder Woman boots, which unfortunately zip in the front. Although I may have my trusty cobbler, Mario, remove the superfluous ribbon from the back, so I can wallow in the untainted slouchy blueness.

    I think that ribbon is what you tie the bad guys to once you’ve trussed them up. Either that or it’s like a bus strap that your sidekick holds on to when you fly. Glad you like the boots and congratulations again. There were a lot of good captions!
