ROFLMAO! Okay, so that wasn’t really funny, actually it was really sad. Yet again another case where “no child let behind” has failed us!
In this case the back story is really interesting; the Israelis are shutting the school where the Palestinian kids go, claiming it’s just a front for “terrorist activities.” Now, I have absolutely no way of knowing whether or not that’s true but I CAN tell they’re not teaching very well, if they’re teaching at all. I also know, from one of my previous lives, that taking a bunch of potentially radical kids out of school and turning them loose in a war zone is NOT a measure destined to prevent trouble.
There is also this:

Brave New World has come to pass. Does he exclaim with much joy “UP” when operative an elevator?
Sucks! Operating…
With spellcheck, there is just no excuse for that…
I, personally, don’t think you should be allowed to play with fonts until you can handle spelling.
Um, Raincoaster, what do you mean “the” school where Palestinian kids go? Are you talking about one of the many, many elementary schools? One of the many, many high schools? or one of the handful of colleges?
One of the universities has been known as a front for terrorist activity for years, but I’m not sure if that’s the one you are talking about.
Click on the picture for all the context. This is exactly what the article says:
The Israeli army has shut down education centres in the strife-hit West Bank town of Hebron. It claims the centres, linked to hardliners Hamas, are used to finance terrorism.
I am, of course, presuming that this kid only attends ONE of those schools. Maybe he should mix it up more?
