    I wonder what the 19th century composers of comic opera would have thought of their work eventually leading to the Batsui! Were stunt doubles used when the urns were broken open, or ceramic likenesses? That looked painful.

    I think anyone who writes comic opera is long past the point of dignity. They’d probably be quite pleased.

    Agree about the urn-smashing. I hope they used doubles!
